Prakash Kumar Singh

Prakash is a Sony pro photographer, UPI Gold Medal winner, Finalist – Sony World Photography Award 2015 and HAIDA Brand ambassador.

His work has been published on several websites and magazines including Digital Photographer, Camerapixo, Livemint, to name a few.

Norway is a Scandinavian country encircling mountains, glaciers and coastal fjords. 

Landscapes of Norway offer extreme wilderness and its coast has deep fjords and steep cliffs. 

Our tours will be focused in and around Lofoten. Lofoten Islands are spread across the turbulent Norwegian Sea. Known for its breathtaking and dramatic scenery, it offers immense landscape photography opportunities. 

STRUCTURE:

Pre Tour Analysis:

Each registered participant will be requested to submit their landscape / portrait related images. Our panel will analyse each image to see how to guide each individual during the tour to help them enhance their skills.  We will also provide individual feedback to their each submitted image and suggest improvement points.

During the Tour:

Based on the analytical data available with us post “Pre Tour Analysis” we will provide individualized attention to all and ensure they work on their weaknesses and enhance their skills. Evening Gup Shup sessions will be learning oriented and practical tips will be provided based on the mistakes committed by participants during the day. 

We shall also have atleast one evening session dedicated to post processing workflow to help them become a complete photographer.

After the tour:

Each participant will be required to submit 3 of his or her best images from the tour. Each image will be analysed and constructive feedback will be provided. Best of the lot will make it to our website and blog; and will be aggressively promoted on FB. 

DAY 0 (Sept 24) Reach Svolvaer (Lofoten, Norway) We check-in hotel/famous cottages. spend rest of the day relaxing or exploring Fjord n Svolvaer city. If we are lucky we can even capture the dance of green at night.

DAY 1-2 (Sept 25 – Sept 26) Svolvaer – Reine Sunrise at the Svolvaer famous Fjord. Checkout after breakfast and explore the Lofoten Island. Then we will head towards the most famous and most photographed location in the world – Reine. It’s also the World’s most beautiful island according to National Geographic. And we will check in one of the most popular destinations in Lofoten – “The Eliasson Rorbuer”

We will explore Reine, Hamnoy, Ramberg, Fredvang for next 2 days.

DAY 3 (Sept 27) Reine – Lekness The Sunrise will be at waterfall, then we head to Lekness district. We will check in at Fisherman’s Cottages.

Explore the Vestavagoy island of Lofoten. We will also shoot at Uttakliev Beach, Vik beach and Haukland Beach (for Sunset)

DAY 4 (Sept 28) Lekness – YtterstadSunrise will be near a small village of Bostad in Vestvagoya. Then we explore the beautiful Ytterstad.

DAY 5 (Sept 29) TrondheimWe catch flight for Trondheim and explore the city after check in.

DAY 6 (Sept 30) We travel to Storseisundet bridge & Trollstigen & capture the beauty of these places.

DAY 7 (Oct 01) Check Out and we take our long journey back home after the scintillating experience.
